Brief Introduction

 

Zhuzhou High-Tech Park (Zhuzhou HTP) is located on the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Zhuzhou, the fifth largest economy in Hunan province. It was established in Feb. 1992 and was approved as a state-level development zone in Nov. 1992. The total planned area of the park is 35km2.

Zhuzhou HTP has one core district (state-level high-tech park), three special parks (Hexi high-tech industrial park, Tianxin high-tech industrial park and Dongjiaduan high-tech industrial park) and two state-level bases (national new material achievement transformation and industrialization base and national sensor technology base in the China torch program).

Zhuzhou has been one of the most important transportation hubs in central China. There are three railway lines meeting there; the Beijing-Guangzhou, Zhejiang-Jiangxi and Hunan-Guizhou, Also, it is just a 40 minute drive from Zhuzhou to Changsha Huanghua International Airport.

Limitations

 

Infrastructure and support facilities are inferior to those of developed regions.

Lack of senior or high-level talents.
